How we got here...

(about Amplify Analytics)

We are a rare combination: Marketers, techies and data nerds all in one. Creators and users of marketing and data technologies, we’ve embrace the role that data and data science play in generating insights and incremental value to businesses. We look at the unique data assets companies are creating and find opportunities in them – from optimizing decisions and processes, to enhancing products and services, to selling data and information products, to influencing consumer attitudes and behavior — ultimately all driving better business performance.

While our team represents many years (more than we’d like to admit) of experience with marketing optimization, data enhancement, analytics, direct marketing, data strategy, data monetization and marketing automation technology development, our recent work has focused on improving the effectiveness of marketing for automobile dealerships – especially the growing opportunities we see in “fixed ops” service revenue and customer retention.

Years ago we built a service-centric automobile dealership marketing platform (and an array of supporting technologies) to the specifications of our agency client.

After the product launched we continued to support the platform and became intimately familiar with several recurring business problems facing the agency – problems that put a significant drag on the effectiveness of the marketing being delivered for the dealership.

The issues revolved around four primary themes: 1) data quality, 2) accurate retention measurement, 3) identifying profitable opportunities and 4) reliable marketing attribution.

We then set about studying the issues through a data-centric lens, exploring any next-generation technologies that promised to solve these problems. We knew we could build something better.

We began experimenting with data from a variety of fresh new sources – strategically splicing it into industry-standard owner and vehicle information – and then applying advanced data science techniques to create predictive models that, in the hands of savvy marketers, uncover deep, actionable insight into customer behavior and available market opportunity.

The result: Service RPM and the Amplify Analytics suite of dealership marketing solutions we now offer you.

But we’re not done. There are new challenges to solve, new technologies to be explored.
